AJA CHARITY LOTTERY FOR MARIE IZMIRLIAN ORPHANAGE HELD DURING YEREVAN SHOW 2014

07.11.2014

Charitable projects have become a tradition for AJA. During the association’s international events, we have been able to help our young compatriots at the Marie Izmirlian orphanage in Yerevan.

Since last year`s Yerevan Show 2013, when AJA Russian Chairman Ruben Kotanchyan initiated the project, funds have been raised during AJA events in Basel, Ontario, Moscow and now in Yerevan.

We have provided them with a new and modern entrance, and automatic gates have been installed for a safer environment. Also, celebrations were organized during holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and International Children’s Day.

As was suggested by AJA members, lately we have been focusing on medical issues, as most of the orphans suffer from congenital diseases or are disabled.

During Yerevan Show 2014, $5500 was raised. Part of the funds will go toward the children`s medical examinations and treatments. One MRI examination has already been made, and 3000 diapers were bought for the orphanage as well.

During Christmas and New Year holidays, celebrations will be organized for the little Armenian children, thanks to AJA benefactors. We are pleased to be able to provide some fun and comfort, as they are deprived of parental love and care.

A full annual report on funds raised for this project will be available to AJA members in January 2015.

AJA expresses its gratitude to everyone who participates in our charitable work.

If you want to join AJA’s charity activity, which is aimed to make the lives of over a hundred children from the Marie Izmirlian orphanage a little more comfortable and give them a chance to be happy, please connect us +7 915 463 65 20 or e-mail: office@ajainternational.com
